Tournament rules

Please read carefully before the welcoming ceremony.

1. Each player pays R200.00 for BBS prizes.
2. High handicaps will draw a low handicap partner during the welcoming ceremony.
3. No putts may be given or accepted.
4. All players tee off from normal men’s club tees (white/green).
5. Tee shot out of bounds — player can decide to go back to tee for 1 penalty shot, or drop nearest point on fairway with two penalty shots (to save time).
6. Responsibility is on every player to be sure of local club rules.
7. Play as it lies means exactly that.
8. Markers decide about rulings — if not sure, discuss with Andre Steyn after the round for a final ruling.
9. Two score cards may be completed for comparison, but please hand only one readable card in to Andre.
10. Pink hat rule as normal — players are only allowed to take the hat off during place of residence and during play.
11. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place of every day will be cut 3, 2, 1 shots/HC (respectively, including ties) for the duration of the tour.
12. Last, 2nd last & 3rd last of every day will gain 3, 2, 1 shots/HC (respectively, including ties) for the duration of the tour.
13. Please be fair and honest and do not bring the BSC Golf Tour into disrepute in any way.
14. Warning: don’t drink & drive.
